The Sky is the Limit
The Sky is The Limit
by Amy I. Ramdass
What lies outside this universe in
which I blundered
I feel trapped inside this
claustrophobic wonder
This strange balloon capable of
self-inflation
Will it ever blow up and end my
frustration
It feels like a prison, I really
want out
Anyone out there, can you hear me
if I shout
Please, please, help me pierce this
bubble
This one kind act should fix all my
troubles
I want to live in a world of
freedom and fun
Not bounded to a planet enslaved by
the sun
I need a world more lush and beautiful
I want to be free of gravitational
push and pull
Give me wings to fly beyond
boundaries
I want freedom from Gods and
catastrophes
I want to live in a world whole and
undivided
Free to live anywhere in the world
if I decided
Freedom from natural laws of the
universe
Freedom from nature’s programming
too diverse
Never to die, never to be born, I
am ready to commit
Someone please help
me, beyond the skies…there are no limits
